National Theatre's ‘Death of England: Face to Face’ film sets release date

The new National Theatre film will be broadcast on Sky Arts in November.

A release date for the National Theatre's new feature film Death of England: Face to Face has been revealed. Death of England: Face to Face will be available to watch on Sky Arts on 25 November. 

Death of England: Face to Face is the latest story in the Death of England series, following the original National Theatre productions Death of England and Death of England: Delroy. In this film, the birth of Delroy's child and Michael's niece sees Delroy and Michael confront their relationship with one another at their East London flat.

Neil Maskell plays Michael, with Giles Terera as Delroy, Phil Daniels as Alan, Amy Newton as Carly and Maggie Saunders as Maggie. Death of England: Face to Face is co-written by Roy Williams and Clint Dyer, with Dyer also directing. The feature film was filmed in the Lyttelton Theatre, which is currently home to East is East

An exclusive screening of Death of England: Face to Face will take place at Curzon Bloomsbury on 26 October. Select cinemas will play previews on 2 November, ahead of a nationwide broadcast on Sky Arts on 25 November at 9pm.
