Sophie was the Associate Editor for TodayTix, after joining the team in September 2018. She writes for LondonTheatre.co.uk and New York Theatre Guide as part of her role.
Born in Luton, Bedfordshire, Sophie's love for theatre began in 2001 when she joined Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Dunstable and she has never looked back. Being a theatre geek for as long as she can remember, she has performed in musicals and concerts in iconic locations such as the Royal Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall.
Graduating with a History degree from the University of Warwick in 2018, Sophie was heavily involved in student media. She wrote for The Boar, the University's student paper as well as presented radio shows on the University's radio station, winning Best Show and Best Presenter . Whilst at university, Sophie also joined Music Theatre Warwick, where she ran workshop sessions as part of a committee and took part in musicals including Avenue Q, playing Kate Monster. She has also performed with The Improv Musical at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Jacks on Broadway during her year abroad in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Outside of theatre, Sophie enjoys watching live comedy, going to see television shows being filmed and drinking too many seasonal coffees from high street chains during the festive season.
