Born as Robert Simpson in Surrey in 1979, Rufus Hound is one of Britain’s leading comedians, actors and presenters.
Hound made his West End debut in 2013, reprising his performance as Francis Henshall in One Man, Two Guvnors at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Since then, he’s been a regular across West End stages, starring in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Savoy Theatre, and in 2017, as Toad in the West End premiere of The Wind In the Willows, a brand new musical which played at the London Palladium for three months.
He’s also appeared in numerous productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company, including the world premiere of The Boy in the Dress in Stratford-upon-Avon and Don Quixote at the Garrick Theatre.
