Michael Jamieson is a lifelong theatre lover. Originally from Los Angeles, Michael grew up in a family of artists and musicians. In 2012, she moved to New York City to study musical theatre at NYU/Tisch's New Studio and be close to the bustling theatre scene.
Though Michael now calls NYC home, she has traveled the globe in pursuit of learning everything she can about theatre and live performance. She has experienced theatre from every angle. She has worked in box offices and tech booths, regional houses and drag theaters. In 2015, Michael attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London to study Shakespeare in Performance. She embarked on a children's theater tour through the continental United States so kids without access to arts education programs could experience the magic of theatre.
Outside the theatre, Michael loves experimenting with craft cocktails and doing Sunday crossword puzzles. She is also a former professional baker and loves to spend her Sundays in the kitchen. Some of her favorite productions are Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, Waitress, Ragtime, Caroline, or Change, and Fun Home, to name a few.
