First look at John Tiffany’s Pinocchio at the National Theatre

Images have been released showing John Tiffany's production of Pinocchio, which began previews on Friday (1st December).

Tiffany directs Martin Lowe's adaptation of Dennis Kelly's story, which features songs and score from the Disney film by Leigh Harline, Ned Washington and Paul J Smith.

The cat for Pinocchio, which runs in the Lyttelton, stars Joe Idris-Roberts (Pinocchio), Audrey Brisson (Jiminy Cricket) and Mark Hadfield (Geppetto).

The production features design (and puppet co-design) by Bob Crowley, lighting by Paule Constable, orchestrations by Martin Lowe, choreography by Stephen Hoggett, puppetry (and puppet co-design) by Toby Olié, sound by Simon Baker and Jamie Harrison.

Pinocchio is in the Lyttelton at the National Theatre until 7th April, with an official opening on 13th December.
