Ramin Karimloo is currently starring in A Face in the Crowd at the Young Vic in London.
He is best known for Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, first joining the production as Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny in the West End in 2003. He returned as the Phantom in 2007 and reprised the role at the Royal Albert Hall in 2011. He originated the role of the Phantom in Love Never Dies at the Adelphi Theatre in 2010, earning an Olivier Award nomination.
Karimloo made his Broadway debut as Jean Valjean in the 2014 Broadway revival of Les Misérables, earning a Tony Award nomination.
He has starred in other musicals such as a stage adaptation of Anastasia (2017) and Funny Girl (2021), as well as a number of concerts including Sunset Boulevard (2021), Pirates of Penzance (2022), and Doctor Zhivago (2023).
