Natalie Casey was born in 1981 in Rawtenstall, and is the youngest person ever to have a recording in the music charts in England. At just three years old, her single “Chick Chick Chicken” reached number 72 in the charts. She is best known for her television roles in Hollyoaks, where she played Carol Groves, and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps alongside Sheridan Smith.
Musical theatre is in her blood (her older sister being West End performer Anna Jane Casey), and Natalie has appeared in Fame at the Shaftesbury Theatre, a UK tour of The Wedding Singer, Oklahoma! at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Paulette in the Olivier Award-winning musical Legally Blonde at the Savoy Theatre and Judy Bernly in the UK tour of 9 to 5.
Casey has also starred in West End plays. She has apepared in The Invisible Man and Abigail’s Party at the Menier Chocolate Factory and the Wyndham's Theatre, and in the UK tour of Frantic Assembly’s Things I Know To Be True. She last returned to the West End in Maria Friedman’s new production of Stepping Outalongside Amanda Holden and Tracy-Ann Oberman.
