Wicked announces 10th Anniversary Cast

As of Monday 5 September 2016, the cast will include Rachel Tucker who returns to the production in the role of 'Elphaba', following a successful stint in the Broadway production. She will be joined by Suzie Mathers from the Australian company as 'Glinda', Anita Dobson as 'Madame Morrible', original cast member Martin Ball as 'Doctor Dillamond' and Idriss Kargbo as 'Boq'.

Current cast members Oliver Saville ('Fiyero'), Katie Rowley Jones ('Nessarose') and Mark Curry ('The Wizard') will remain with the production, with Alice Fearn continuing as standby for 'Elphaba' and Carina Gillespie as standby for 'Glinda'.

Rachel Tucker, Anita Dobson and Katie Rowley Jones will remain in their roles until 28 January 2017. Current cast members Emma Hatton, Savannah Stevenson, Liza Sadovy, Sean Kearns, Daniel Hope and Natalie Andreou will play their final performance on Sat 3 September 2016.

Wicked became the 9th longest-running show in the West End on 5 September 2015 and is now the 19th longest-running show in West End theatre history.

The show opened at the Apollo Victoria Theatre on 27 September 2006, following previews from 07 September, and has since been seen by almost 6 million people. The production recently announced its 21st booking extension and is now booking until 29 April 2017.

Tickets for the 10th Anniversary performance will go on sale on Friday 27th May 2016.

The ensemble will include James Darch, Kerry Enright, Freya Field, Joseph Fletcher, Fraser Fraser, David Gale, Sergio Giacomelli, Alexandra Grierson, Olivia Kate Holding, Aaron Jenkins, Claudia Kariuki, Will Lucas, Chanel Mian, Billy Mitchell, Scott Monello, Ella Nonini, Rosa O'Reilly, Julienne Schembri, Joe Sleight, Jessamy Stoddart, Paulo Teixeira, Joe Toland, Hannah Toy, Russell Walker, Sasha Wareham and Helen Woolf.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. It is directed by Joe Mantello with scenic design by Eugene Lee, costumes by Susan Hilferty, lighting by Kenneth Posner, sound by Tony Meola, orchestrations by William David Brohn, musical staging by Wayne Cilento.
