Two Rooms by Lee Blessing at Drayton Theatre

Mandigo Place Productions presents Two Rooms, by Lee Blessing, at the Drayton Theatre, a fringe venue above the Drayton Arms pub in South Kensington from 30 April to 25 May 2013.

Follows the life of Lainie Wells as she tries to extract her husband, Michael, from a hostage situation in the Middle East. Lainie navigates between the advice of her government and of a reporter who she has trusted to voice her predicament. The play explores the complexity of hostage negotiations, highlighting the overlapping roles that government, media and families play and the events their actions trigger.
