‘Ordinary Days’ musical revival to stream over Easter
The New York City musical will be available for one week.
After four off-West End productions, Adam Gwon's musical Ordinary Days will receive its virtual premiere next month, it has been announced. The romcom style musical will be staged and filmed in a theatre, prior to being available to stream from 31 March - 6 April.
Ordinary Days sees four New Yorkers connect with one another in one of the busiest cities in the world, all while searching for a hopeful future. Ordinary Days made its world premiere at London's Finborough Theatre in 2008, starring Julie Atherton.
Casting for the streamed production of Ordinary Days includes Will Arundell as Jason, Nic Myers as Claire, Joe Thompson-Oubari as Warren and Bobbie Chambers as Deb. Daniel Smith will direct the musical, with musical direction from Ben Barrow.
Ordinary Days was previously going to be staged for in-person performances during a spring tour. However, as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the production will now be taking place online.
