Ruth Jones

Ruth Jones makes her West End debut as Mother Superior in Sister Act at the Dominion Theatre.

Jones is a celebrated Welsh actress, comedian, producer, and writer for British television, recognized with an MBE in the New Year Honours for 2014. She co-wrote and co-starred in the award-winning BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey from 2007 to 2010 and returned for a special in 2019. She was also the creator, writer, and star of the Sky One comedy-drama Stella, which aired from 2012 to 2017 and earned her a BAFTA Award nomination for Best Female Comedy Performance and the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Screenwriter.
