John Owen-Jones is known for his record-breaking performances as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables and the title role in The Phantom of the Opera. His other significant stage credits include Adolfo Pirelli in Sweeney Todd at the Royal Festival Hall, Meyer Wolfsheim in The Great Gatsby at London Coliseum, and Edouard Dindon in La Cage Aux Folles at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. Owen-Jones holds the records for playing Jean Valjean more times than any other actor in the West End production of Les Misérables, and remains the youngest actor in West End history to have played the character.
