Deborah Findlay

Olivier Award winner Deborah Findlay is starring in The Years at the Harold Pinter Theatre, reprising her performance from the run at the Almeida Theatre in 2024.

She is best known for playing family matriarch Ruth in the BBC TV legal drama The Split (2018–2022). She has an extensive stage career, including the original cast of Caryl Churchill's Top Girls and multiple Royal Shakespeare Company productions.

In recent years, she has appeared in the Donmar Warehouse production of Coriolanus (2013), Churchill's Escaped Alone (2016), Lucy Kirkwood's The Children (2016), and Alan Bennett's Allelujah at the Bridge Theatre in 2018.
