Ava Wong Davies

Ava Wong Davies is a freelance theatre critic and playwright based in London. She writes for Exeunt Magazine, The Independent, The Stage, and gal-dem, and in 2018 won the Sunday Times Harold Hobson award for theatre criticism. As a playwright, she is an alumna of the Soho Theatre Writers Lab 18/19 and the Bush Theatre's Emerging Writers Group 19/20. In 2020, her play 'scum' was shortlisted for the Verity Bargate and Tony Craze awards. She is represented by Independent Talent.
