Patrick Page, who originated the role of Hades in *Hadestown* in London and on Broadway, will miss a number of shows in the West End due to injury.

The star was due to return to the production for a limited run alongside André de Shields (as Hermes), Eva Noblezada (as Eurydice), Reeve Carney (as Orpheus), and Amber Gray (as Persephone), who all performed in the original cast of *Hadestown*. 

Performances featuring the original cast begin tonight (11 February).
