‘The Seagull’ tickets now on sale, starring Emilia Clarke
Performances begin at the Harold Pinter Theatre in June.
Tickets for The Seagull, starring Emilia Clarke, are now on sale. The Seagull begins previews at the Harold Pinter Theatre, with an opening night on 7 July, and performances to 10 September. Book The Seagull tickets on London Theatre.
Emilia Clarke will reprise the role of Nina in The Seagull. Clarke made her West End debut in The Seagull as Nina in 2020, however The Seagull performances were cancelled a week into its run due to the pandemic. Clarke has previously starred in Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway, but is best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones.
The Seagull casting includes Tom Rhys Harries as Trigorin, Daniel Monks as Konstantin, Indira Varma as Arkadina, Sophie Wu as Masha, Katie Buchholz, Tina Harris and Joseph Langdon. Further casting is to be announced.
The Seagull follows two writers and two actors who are caught up in personal and professional conflicts. The Seagull play was originally written in Russian by Anton Chekhov, but this production will be a 21st-century adaptation by Anya Reiss.
Jamie Lloyd directs The Seagull. Lloyd will also direct Cyrano de Bergerac starring James McAvoy at the same theatre later this year. Scenic design is by Soutra Gilmour, costume supervision by Anna Josephs, lighting design by Jackie Shemesh, and sound design and composition by George Dennis.
