‘The Seagull’, starring Emilia Clarke, announces full cast
The play returns to the West End this summer.

As previously announced, Emilia Clarke will reprise the role of Nina in The Seagull, continuing in the role which she played in 2020 before performances were cancelled. Clarke’s best known for playing Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, however her stage credits include Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway.
The Seagull cast is completed by Tom Rhys Harries as Trigorin, Daniel Monks as Konstantin, Indira Varma as Arkadina, Sophie Wu as Masha, Jason Barnett as Shamrayev, Robert Glenister as Sorin, Mika Onyx Johnson as Medvedenko, Gerald Kyd as Dorn, Sara Powell as Polina, and Katie Buchholz, Tina Harris, Joseph Langdon and David Lee-Jones.
Anton Chekhov's The Seagull play follows two writers and two actors who are caught up in personal and professional conflicts. While the original text is in Russian, this production will be a 21st-century adaptation by Anya Reiss, first staged at Southwark Playhouse starring Lily James.
Jamie Lloyd directs The Seagull. He previously directed Cyrano de Bergerac starring James McAvoy at the same theatre. The creative team features scenic design by Soutra Gilmour, costume supervision by Anna Josephs, lighting design by Jackie Shemesh, and sound design and composition by George Dennis.
The Seagull is at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
