‘The Mousetrap’ announces new cast for 70th anniversary

The play celebrates its milestone on 25 November.

Ahead of The Mousetrap turning 70 in the West End, find out the new The Mousetrap cast. The Mousetrap has also revealed plans for celebrating its 70th anniversary at St Martin's Theatre on 25 November 2022. Book The Mousetrap tickets on London Theatre.

In celebration of the 70th anniversary, an additional performance will take place on Friday 25 November. Guests with a historic connection to the show will be invited to attend. To date, the show has been performed over 28,000 times in London.

The Mousetrap will also welcome a new cast from 21 November: George banks, George Jones, Jonathan Tynan-Moss, Phoebe Sparrow, Philip Childs, Rob Pomfret, Sara Lessore, Sarah Whitlock.

During Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap, a group of holidaymakers are interviewed by police after a spate of local murders. As the guests reveal their identities and past decisions, the murderer is eventually unmasked. Find out more about The Mousetrap in London.

When did The Mousetrap open in London?

The Mousetrap opened in London at the Ambassadors Theatre on 25 November 1952. The Agatha Christie play then moved to the St. Martin's Theatre in 1974.
