The four-time Olivier-nominated new musical The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has extended performances at the Ambassadors Theatre in the West End. The show is now booking until 30 August 2025.

Jethro Compton and Darren Clark's musical, based on the short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, has been nominated for Best New Musical, Outstanding Musical Contribution, Best Actor in a Musical for John Dagleish, and Best Actress in a Musical for Clare Foster at this year's Olivier Awards. This makes The Curious Case of Benjamin Button the most nominated new musical at the awards.

The musical stars John Dagleish as Benjamin Button and Clare Foster as Elowen Keene. They are joined in the cast by Matthew Burns, Jonathan Charles, Oonagh Cox, Katy Ellis, Anna Fordham, Philippa Hogg, Damien James, Elliot Mackenzie, Ann Marcuson, Emily Panes, Jack Quarton, and Benedict Salter.

Relocating F. Scott Fitzgerald's short story to a fishing village on the north coast of Cornwall, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button tells the exceptional story of a man who ages in reverse and believes himself to be an outcast in his community, but finds love and belonging.

The creative team includes direction and set design by Jethro Compton, co-music supervision, orchestration and arrangements by Mark Aspinall and Darren Clark, choreography by Chi-San Howard, costumes and associate stage design by Anna Kelsey, sound by Luke Swaffield, lighting by Zoe Spurr, and musical direction by Mark Aspinall.
