In Clueless be transported to Beverly Hills High, where spoiled, popular, and kind-hearted Cher Horowitz is the school's matchmaker. When she embarks on the toughest challenge yet, helping her new friend Tai find love, she begins to see her limitations and cluelessness.
Clueless in London stars Emma Flynn (Little Shop of Horrors) as Cher and Keelan McAuley (Grease) as Josh. The excellent cast also includes Chyna- Rose Frederick, Romona Lewis-Malley, Rabi Kondé, Isaac J Lewis, Blake Jordan, Max Mirza, Ryan O'Donnell, Imelda Warren-Green, and Emily Florence.
Amy Heckerling said, "I am totally in love with the brilliant new talent we have been working with, and can't wait for audiences to be thrilled with their singing, dancing, their heart and humour. What better way to kick off this year's 30th anniversary of the Clueless movie than to share the love and laughter of Cher's world with fans old and new."
Clueless is a musical with a star-studded creative team. In addition to Amy Heckerling writing the musical book, the original score is by KT Tunstall (Known for hits like Black Horse And The Cherry Tree, and Suddenly I See).
"I want you to feel like you're at a gig with all of your favourite 90s artists playing in one show," Tunstall said. "And not just have a theatre experience but a concert experience [as the band] jump from one genre to the next."
Grammy-winning Glenn Slater (Sister Act The Musical) wrote the musical lyrics, and multi-award-winning director Rachel Kavanaugh (Half a Sixpence) directs the show.
