Rachel Tucker to star in ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ concert at the London Palladium

There’s no business like showbusiness.

Rachel Tucker will play Annie Oakley in a one-night Annie Get Your Gun concert at the London Palladium on 7 April.

The 1946 musical Annie Get Your Gun follows country girl Annie Oakley as she falls for Frank Butler, a wild west showman. The pair compete and flirt their way into each other’s minds. The musical features Irving Berlin songs including “Anything You Can Do,” “I Got The Sun in the Mornin’” and “There’s No Business Like Show Business.”

Tucker will play Annie Oakley. She recently played Beverley Bass in Come From Away at the Phoenix Theatre. Julian Ovenden will play Frank Butler, with Matt Henry as Buffalo Bill, Nicholas McLean as Charlie Davenport, Olivia Moore as Winnie Tate, Charlotte Riby as Dolly Tate, and Jay Rincon as Tommy Keeler.
