‘Oklahoma!’ announces new West End cast from May 2023
Three new cast members will join the Olivier Award-winning revival of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, currently playing at the Wyndham’s Theatre.
We cain’t say no to new performers in Oklahoma!. Find out the latest cast joining the Olivier Award-winning revival at the Wyndham’s Theatre on 15 May.
Paige Peddie will take over as Ado Annie, succeeding from Georgina Onourah who will play Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. Sally Ann Triplett will join as Aunt Eller, taking over from Liza Sadovy, and David King-Yombo takes over as Mike.
The full Oklahoma! company includes Arthur Darvill — the Best Actor in a Musical winner — as Curly, James Patrick Davis, Stavros Demetraki, Greg Hicks, Rebekah Hinds, Anoushka Lucas, Marie-Astrid Mence, Patrick Vaill, Andrew Berlin, Arthur Boan, Shani Cantor, Anna-Maria de Freitas, George Maddison, Brianna Ogunbawo, Finlay Paul, and Helen K Wint.
Set at the turn of the century, Oklahoma! follows cowboy Curly and outsider Jud as they aim to woo farmgirl Laurey. Daniel Fish directs, with choreography by John Heginbotham, scenic design by Lael Jellinek and Grace Laubacher, costume design by Terese Wadden, lighting design by Scott Zielinski, and sound design by Drew Levy.
