Les Dennis to join 'Only Fools and Horses: The Musical' and tickets available through January 2023

Head on down to Nelson Mandela House via the West End. Les Dennis will join the Only Fools and Horses: The Musical cast this autumn, as he takes over the role of Grandad. Dennis will play Grandad in Only Fools and Horses: The Musical from 3 October. He’s previously starred in West End productions such as Hairspray and HMS Pinafore, both at the London Coliseum.

“I am so excited to be playing Grandad… Like everyone else, I would tune in weekly to watch the hilarious exploits of the Trotters and would laugh and cry in equal measure. It was both funny and touching. Jim Sullivan and Paul Whitehouse have written a wonderful show that beautifully recreates that feel-good era of British comedy,” said Les Dennis.

Based on the BBC sitcom of the same name, Only Fools and Horses: The Musical follows Del Boy, Rodney, and the rest of the Trotter gang on their latest adventures. The cast includes Ashleigh Gray as Raquel, Nicola Munns as Marlene and Cassandra, Craig Berry plays Boycie, Lee VG as Trigger, Adrian Irvine as Denzil, Danny Bayne as Mickey Pearce and Danny Driscoll, Andrew Bryant as Mike The Barman and Tony Driscoll, Christopher Arkeston, Marion Campbell, Wesley Charles, Leanne Garretty, Ian Gareth Jones, Chris Kiely, Danny Lane, Andy Mace, Melanie Marshall, Gemma McLean, Darry Paul and Mark Pearce.

Only Fools and Horses: The Musical is co-written by Paul Whitehouse and Jim Sullivan, directed by Caroline Jay Ranger, and features music by John Sullivan and Chas Hodges.
