An all-female cast will star in Eugene O' Hare's The Dry House this spring. The Dry House begins previews at Marylebone Theatre on 31 March, ahead of an opening night on 6 April, and performances to 6 May.

Set in County Down, Ireland, The Dry House follows sisters Chrissy and Claire as they deal with the impact of alcoholism in their family.

“I consider it a great privilege so soon after the lockdowns for a play written only in June 2022 to be given a home in the first spring season of the exciting new Marylebone Theatre. In Kathy Kiera Clarke, Mairead McKinley and Carla Langley we have a powerful cast of actors whose work I greatly admire, and a fine group of fast-emerging young designers,” said writer and director Eugene O’ Hare.

O’Hare’s television credits include The Fall, Outlander, Industry, and Black Mirror. Derry Girls actress Kathy Kiera Clarke will play Claire, alongside Mairead McKinley as Chrissy, and Carla Langley as Heather.

The show features lighting design by Robbie Butler, and sound design by Esther Kehinde Ajayi.
