‘Jersey Boys’ full cast announced, ahead of summer opening at new Trafalgar Theatre
The Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons musical is the first show at the newly renovated Trafalgar Theatre.
The full cast for the West End revival of Jersey Boys has been announced, with performances beginning next month. Jersey Boys is at the Trafalgar Theatre from 28 July, with Jersey Boys tickets on sale now.
Ben Joyce will make his professional stage debut as Frankie Valli, after graduating from drama school in 2021. Adam Bailey will play Bob Gaudio, previously in The Book of Mormon. Benjamin Yates will play Tommy DeVito, previously in School of Rock, with Karl James Wilson rounding off the Four Seasons as Nick Massi.
The cast is completed by Ben Irish as Bob Crewe, Mark Isherwood as Gyp de Carlo, Koko Basigara as Lorraine, Melanie Bright as Mary Delgado, Carl Douglas as Norm/Hank, Matteo Johnson as Joe Pesci, Jacob McIntosh as Barry Belson, Helen Ternent as Francine, Elliot Allinson, Jack Campbell, Huon Mackley, Bonnie Page and Andy Smith.
The upcoming London production of Jersey Boys will be the first musical to play at Trafalgar Theatre, a new West End venue restoring the two Trafalgar Studios into one space. Check out the Trafalgar Theatre here ahead of visiting this summer.
Jersey Boys dramatises the career of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, set to charttopping hits including "Sherry", "Who Loves You" and "Walk Like a Man". Jersey Boys ran for nine years in London, winning Best New Musical at the Olivier Awards.
Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe. The original Broadway creative team will stage the production, including direction by Des McAnuff, choreography by Sergio Trujillo, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting by Howell Binkley and sound by Steve Canyon Kennedy.
Jersey Boys is at Trafalgar Theatre from 28 July.
