‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, starring Dawn French, announces further casting

The Christmas pantomime is at the London Palladium.

Louis Gaunt will play the role of Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk. He previously played Bert in Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward Theatre. Natalie McQueen will play Princess Jill, following her recent performance as Blanche in Bonnie and Clyde at the Arts Theatre.

Rob Madge will play Pat the Cow. Their one-person show, My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?) will run at the Garrick Theatre next month. Book My Son’s a Queer (But What Can You Do?) tickets on London Theatre.

The all-star Jack and the Beanstalk cast includes Dawn French, Julian Clary, Alexandra Burke, Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers and Gary Wilmot.

Jack and the Beanstalk follows the traditional fairytale. As Jack sells his cow for magic beans, he discovers a giant beanstalk in his back garden. Michael Harrison directs Jack and the Beanstalk, and the production features design by Mark Walters, costume design by Hugh Durrant, choreography by Karen Bruce, lighting design by Ben Cracknell, and sound design by Gareth Owen.
