Heida Reed joins Iwan Rheon in West End premiere of Foxfinder
Poldark's Heida Reed has joined Iwan Rheon in the cast for the West End premiere of Foxfinder, set to open at the Ambassadors Theatre next month.
Reed is best-known for appearing in BBC series Poldark alongside Aidan Turner, and has previously been seen on stage in London in Scarlet at Southwark Playhouse and the 2011 revival of Top Girls at Trafalgar Studios.
She will take on a role in Dawn King's play which runs from 6th September 2018 until 5th January 2019.
In the piece, which first ran at the Finborough Theatre in 2011, Rheon plays William Bloor, a foxfidner who is sent to a farm to investigate an infestation. The family-run farm he has been employed to search has hit well below its harvest targets, and when the government want answers as to why, Bloor finds more questions facing him instead.
Rheon is known for his screen roles in Game of Thrones and the cult E4 series Misfits, but on stage, he has appeared in Spring Awakening at the Novello for which he won an Olivier for best performance in a supporting role in a musical, and Remembrance Day at the Royal Court.
Foxfinder will be directed by Rachel O'Riordan, who directed the Royal Court and Sherman Theatre co-production of Killology, winning the Olivier Award for best achievement in an affiliate theatre earlier this year.
Foxfinder is at the Ambassadors Theatre from 6th September to 5th January.
Foxfinder tickets are available now.
