German Cornejo’s ‘Tango After Dark’ to return to Peacock Theatre

The world-class tango experience heads to the capital.

Tango After Dark combines Astor Piazzolla’s Argentine tango compositions, alongside jaw-dropping choreography and passionate movement. Tango After Dark features five couples from Buenos Aires: German Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi, Mariano Balois and Micaela Spina, Ezequiel Lopez and Camila Alegre, Juan Malizia and Manuela Rossi, and Nicolas Schell and Noelia Pizzo. The two singers will be Antonela Cirillo and Jesus Hidalgo.

Cornejo choreographs and directs Tango After Dark, with individual couples choreographing their own solos. Assistant choreography is by Gisela Galeassi, and sound design is by Gaston Briski.
