Experience ‘Musicals by Candlelight’ in new London concert series

Listen to your favourite musical theatre songs performed by a string quartet.

A new series of musical theatre concerts will begin at The Actor’s Church in April. Titled Musicals by Candlelight, the upcoming concerts will feature string quartet versions of musical theatre and Disney songs from 20 April to 19 May. Musicals by Candlelight tickets are on sale now..

Songs in Musicals by Candlelight concerts are from musicals including Les Miserables, Wicked, My Fair Lady, The Phantom of the Opera, and Disney stories including The Lion King, Frozen and Mary Poppins. Musicals by Candlelights concerts will take place at St Paul’s Church — also known as The Actor’s Church — in Covent Garden from 20 April. Concerts are scheduled on selected dates to 14 May.

St Paul’s Church opened in 1633 and has been associated with West End theatre since the Restoration period. The theatre company, Iris Theatre, is permanently based at the location.
