‘Dirty Dancing’ announces West End cast at Dominion Theatre
The hit musical returns to the West End next month.
Nobody is putting this cast in a corner! The full Dirty Dancing cast has been named, ahead of Dirty Dancing performances beginning next month. Dirty Dancing is at the Dominion Theatre from 2 February to 16 April, and Dirty Dancing tickets are on sale now.
The Dirty Dancing cast is led by Michael O'Reilly as Johnny Castle and Kira Malou as Frances "Baby" Houseman, both reprising their performances from the recent Dirty Dancing tour. Carlie Milner will play Penny Johnson, with Lynden Edwards as Jake Houseman, Lori Hayley Fox as Mrs Houseman, Lizzie Ottley as Lisa Houseman, and Colin Charles as Tito Suarez.
The Dirty Dancing ensemble is completed by Oliver Adam-Reynolds, Samuel Bailey, Danielle Cato, Mark Faith, Marie Finlayson, Christopher Fry, Benjamin Harrold, Danielle Lockwood, Sophia McAvoy, James McHugh, Rishard-Kyro Nelson, Lee Nicholson, Charlotte Olliffe, Tom Parsons, Michael Remick, Mimi Rodrigues Alves, Miles Russell, Thomas Sutcliffe, Patricia Wilkins, Austin Wilks, James William-Pattinson, Simon Williams, Niko Wirachman, and Sasha Woodward.
Dirty Dancing is based on the 1980s musical film of the same name, centering on a summer romance between a holidaymaker and a dance instructor. Many Dirty Dancing film songs feature in the musical, including "Hungry Eyes," and "(I've Had) The Time of My Life."
Federico Bellone directs Dirty Dancing, which features an original book by Eleanor Bergstein. Choreography is by Austin Wilks, with costume design by Jennifer Irwin, lighting design by Valerio Tiberi, and sound design by Armando Vertullo.Find out more about Dirty Dancing in London.
