‘Bring It On’ announces full cast, joining Amber Davies and Louis Smith
Performances run at Queen Elizabeth Hall over the Christmas period.
The full cast for cheerleading musical Bring It On has been announced, ahead of its Christmas season in London. Bring It On is at Queen Elizabeth Hall from 8 December - 22 Jan. 2022, and Bring It On tickets are on sale now.
The Bring It On company is led by Amber Davies as Campbell, following her West End debut as Judy in 9 to 5 at the Savoy Theatre. Four-time Olympic medalist and Rip It Up star Louis Smith will play Cameron.
Vanessa Fisher will play Danielle, with Alicia Belgarde as Eva, Georgia Bradshaw as Nautica, Marvyn Charles as Twig, Chelsea Hall as Bridget, Chloe Pool as Skylar, Biancha Szynal as Kylar, Samuel Wilson-Freeman as Steve and Connor Carson as Randall. The role of La Cienega will be played by Jal Joshua, previously starring in an Asian tour of Cats and competing in Australian X Factor and Australia's Got Talent.
The cast is completed by Paris Green, Sergi Ibanez, Jordan Isaac, Bethany Kate, Gareth Moran, Ayden Morgan, Kenedy Small and Zinzile Tshuma. One more cast member is to be announced.
Bring It On is inspired by the 2000 cheerleading film of the same name, and follows Campbell, a high school cheer captain who is forced to move schools and compete with her rivals. Forming a new squad, Campbell is determined to make it to the top of the pyramid.
Bring It On is written by Jeff Whitty, with music by Tom Kitt and Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda. Guy Unsworth directs, with choreography by Fabian Aloise, scenic design by Libby Watson, costume design by Susan Kulkarni, lighting design by Matt Daw and sound design by Ross Portway.
Bring It On is at Queen Elizabeth Hall from 8 December.
