Tosh Wangho-Maud plays David Ruffin. He previously played Ben E. King/Rudy Lewis in The Drifters Girl, a Motown-inspired musical.
Sifiso Mazibuko will play Otis Williams, and Mitchell Zhangazha will play Eddie Kendricks. The pair portrayed Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder in Motown the Musical.
Cameron Bernard Jones plays Melvin Franklin, and Kyle Cox plays Paul Williams. Further casting will be announced.

Ain’t Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations features a book by Dominique Morisseau, and reunites director Des McAnuff with choreographer Sergio Trujillo. The show features scenic design by, Robert Brill costume design by Paul Tazewell, lighting design by Howell Binkley and sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy.
