Although David Baddiel was born in New York in 1964, he’s a British comedian and novelist, best known for his sketches with Frank Skinner. He’s also an Olivier Award-nominated performer, bringing his stand up comedy to the West End.

Baddiel’s London theatre debut was in 2013, performing FAME: Not the Musical at the Menier Chocolate Factory. He returned to the Menier three years later with My Family: Not the Sitcom, exploring his relationships with his parents.

Following the acclaimed run of My Family: Not the Sitcom at the Menier, the show transferred for five weeks at the Vaudeville Theatre in September 2016. In 2017, the production ran for another ten weeks at the Playhouse Theatre, receiving an Olivier nomination for Best Entertainment and Family Show.

Baddiel made his playwriting debut in 2019 with God’s Dice at the Soho Theatre. Comedian Alan Davies starred in God's Dice.
