Tuppence Middleton to take over from Romola Garai in 'The Years'

Tuppence Middleton joins a cast that includes Deborah Findlay, Gina McKee, Anjli Mohindra, and Harmony Rose-Bremner, as they explore the life of one woman from the 1940s to 2006.

Tuppence Middleton will join the cast of Eline Arbo’s The Years in the West End, taking over the role from Romola Garai whose last scheduled performance will be 8 March. Middleton's first performance will be 10 March.

She joins a cast that includes Deborah Findlay, Gina McKee, Anjli Mohindra, and Harmony Rose-Bremner, as they explore the life of one woman from the 1940s to 2006.

The Years previously ran at Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, before opening at the Almeida Theatre in London in 2024.

It is adapted from the memoir by Annie Ernaux and has a creative team that includes Music Supervisor and Sound Designer Thijs van Vuure, Set Designer Juul Dekker, Costume Designer Rebekka Wörmann, and Lighting Designer Varja Klosse.
