See rehearsal photos for ‘The Unfriend,' starring Lee Mack
The celebrated team behind Sherlock, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, bring a new comedy about a couple who make the wrong friend abroad to London’s West End.
For a killer plot that’ll have you in stitches, look no further than Steven Moffat’s new comedy The Unfriend, which has released rehearsal photos ahead of its West End return on 16 December.
Opening at Wyndham's Theatre, the play is directed by Mark Gatiss and follows holidaymakers Peter and Debbie, who befriend Elsa: a Trump-loving widow from the US. When Elsa invites herself to stay with them a few months later, the couple decide to look her up online. But when they learn the truth, it’s too late, as she’s already on a flight to London.
The new comedy has an all-star cast including Lee Mack (Would I Lie to You, Not Going Out, Inside No. 9), Sarah Alexander (Jonathan Creek, Green Wing, Smack the Pony, Coupling), Frances Barber (Silk, Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool), and Nick Sampson (Witness for the Prosecution, Antony and Cleopatra).
Check out photos of the cast in rehearsals for this hilarious new comedy, booking now until 9 March.
