Further casting has been revealed for the upcoming West End production of Frozen, following the news earlier this year that Samantha Barks has been cast in the role of Elsa.

Directed by Michael Grandage, the Disney musical is set for its London premiere in October, when it reopens the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Joining Barks will be Stephanie McKeon, who is set to take on the role of Anna, who embarks on an epic journey with the help of a mountaineer, his reindeer and a snowman to find her sister, Elsa.

McKeon's previous theatre credits include Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, The Commitments at the Palace Theatre, and Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris at the Gate Theatre in Dublin.

Upon the announcement, Grandage said in a statement: "Frozen tells the story of two extraordinary women and we're thrilled to have found Samantha and Stephanie who will bring their incredible talent to the roles of Elsa and Anna, allowing us to create a production of Frozen, especially for London.

"Now more than ever, we're looking forward to the day we can all get together in a rehearsal room to bring their story to the stage."

Frozen is set to open at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 11th November, with previews from 30th October.
