A West End transfer of the musical adaptation of Pretty Woman has officially been announced by the show's Broadway producers as the musical enters its second year in New York.
With original music and lyrics by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, Pretty Woman is based on the 1990 film by JF Lawton about a Hollywood sex worker who is hired by a successful businessman. It has now been announced that Pretty Woman will transfer to the West End in February 2020, but a theatre, dates, casting and ticket information are yet to be announced.
Pretty Woman is directed and choreographed on Broadway by Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots), and it produced by ATG and Paula Wagner.
The creative team includes scenic designer David Rockwell, costume designer Gregg Barnes, lighting designer Kenneth Posner and Philip S Rosenberg, sound designer John Shivers, hair designer Josh Marquette and musical supervision by Will Van Dyke.
