New 'The Choir of Man' cast revealed as show returns to the West End
The show first opened at the Arts Theatre in October 2021, and has welcomed over 280,000 audience members across 1,000 performances.
The new cast of The Choir of Man at the Arts Theatre has been revealed. After a period of closure for redevelopment, the venue reopens with the show from 12 March through 31 August.
The Olivier-nominated, West End show sees nine guys in a pub setting performing hits from artists such as Queen, Luther Vandross, Sia, Adele, Guns & Roses, and Katy Perry.
The new cast includes Jason Brock (Thriller Live) as ‘Romantic’, Benji Lord (Dreamboats and Petticoats: Bringing on Back The Good Times!) as ‘Joker’, David Booth (The Threepenny Opera, Fiddler On The Roof) as ‘Pub Bore’, Paul McArthur (Tracks) as ‘Poet’, Oliver Jacobson (Come From Away) as ‘Barman’, and Alex Mallalieu (As You Like It) and Toby Francis (High Fidelity, We Will Rock You) as swings.
They join Rob Godfrey as ‘Beast’, Ifan Gwilym-Jones as ‘Maestro’, George Knapper as ‘Handyman’, Bradley Walwyn as ‘Hardman’, and David Shute and Tom Carter-Miles as swings.
Nic Doodson said on behalf of the producers, “We are absolutely thrilled to be able to go into our fourth year at the Arts Theatre in the heart of the West End and are delighted that the new cast members will have the chance to appear in front of such passionate and engaged audiences.”
