He's joining the science fiction double feature! Mawaan Rizwan has joined the cast of The Rocky Horror Show in the West End, playing from 6-20 September at the Dominion Theatre.

Rizwan is a actor, writer and comedian best known for his BAFTA-winning comedy series Juice, which he starred in, wrote, and co-produced. His other screen credits include performing on Definitely Not Newsround, Two Weeks to Live, and Murdered By My Father and writing on Sex Education.

Rocky Horror was such a formative show for me as a performer, so I’m very excited and honoured to be a part of bringing it back," Rizwan said in a statement. "I can’t wait for audiences to experience this joyously anarchic classic once again!”

He will play the Narrator and joins a cast that also includes Jason Donovan as Dr Frank 'n' Furter, Connor Carson as Brad, Lauren Chia as Janet, Job Greuter as Riff Raff, Natasha Hoeberigs as Magenta/Usherette, Jayme-Lee Zanoncelli as Columbia, Morgan Jackson as Rocky, and Edward Bullingham as Eddie/Dr Scott.

In The Rocky Horror Show, fiancés Brad and Janet's car breaks down at the castle of Dr Frank 'n' Furter, who invites them on an eccentric adventure they won't forget.
