Matilda: The Musical adds a few new faces to the company, including Tiffany Graves as Mrs Wormwood, Neil McDermott as Mr Wormwood, and Eve Norris as Miss Honey. Kieran Hill continues in the role of Miss Trunchbull.
Additionally, other young performers have joined the London company in the roles of Bruce, Lavender, Nigel and the rest of the pupils at Crunchem Hall: Elyza Alderton, Beatrice Armitage, Joseph Burrows, Maddy Collings, Sienna Culm, Pasquale Folivi AD, Joey Grady, Blake Graham, Alexandra Horner, Adam Hussain, George Jones, Amber Koduah-Hutchison, Tristan Marwa, Isabelle McLatchie, Anayah Thomas and Kobe Warmington.
The warm tale of resilience based on Roald Dahl's classic story features Matilda Wormwood, a child who discovers her supernatural powers in between her intense experiences at home and at school. In the classroom, she and her friends must face up against the diabolical headmistress, Miss Trunchbull. Matilda is written by Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin.
The Olivier Award-winning musical and the powerful young girl at its center continue to shine brightly in the West End, with no signs of giving up.
Matilda the Musical is at the Cambridge Theatre through 24 May 2026.
