Journey's End at Duke of York's from 19 July 2011

Journey's End, by R C Sherriff, returns to the West End for a limted season at the Duke of York's Theatre, opening 22 July 2011, following previews from 19 July, running for a limited season to 3 Sep 2011, before resuming its UK tour.

Directed by David Grindley, cast includes Graham Butler, Tim Chipping, Andy Daniel, Daniel Hanna, Simon Harrison, Nigel Hastings, Mike Hayley, Dominic Mafham, James Norton, Christian Patterson, Tony Turner

It is designed by Jonathan Fensom, lighting by Jason Taylor, sound by Gregory Clarke. Produced by Flora Suk-Hwa Yoon and Lee Menzies with Act Productions Ltd, Jeremy Meadow, Suzanna Rosenthal and The Shaftesbury Theatre.

Set against the background of life in the trenches during World War One, the play is based on the author's own experience of the Front. It follows a group of officers behind British lines at St Quentin, France, who await their fate on the front line.
