‘Heathers: The Musical’ to return to The Other Palace in November
The theatre reopens under new ownership with the darkly comic musical
Welcome to the candy store! Heathers: The Musical is returning to where it started next month, when it opens at The Other Palace on 25 November.
Produced by Bill Kenwright and Paul Taylor Mills, the production opened at the venue in 2018 and moved to the Theatre Royal Haymarket later that year. The show ran at that venue this past summer as well. Kenwright recently acquired The Other Palace from Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Heathers marks the first show at the theatre under the new ownership.
Based on the 1989 cult-favourite film, Heathers: The Musical follows high schooler Veronica Sawyer who befriends the cool girl "Heathers" and will stop at nothing to achieve her goal of popularity. Kevin Murphy and Laurence O'Keefe adapted the film for the stage and wrote the score, and this production is directed by Andy Fickman.
Casting will be announced at a later date and Heathers: The Musical tickets will be available on London Theatre soon.
