Full cast announced for Robert Icke's 'Manhunt' at the Royal Court
Manhunt explores the events that follow the release of Raoul Moat from Durham Prison in 2010, leading to one of the most infamous manhunts in UK history.
Casting has been revealed for Robert Icke's Manhunt at the Royal Court in London. Icke's play, which tells the story of one of the most infamous manhunts in UK history, will begin performances on 28 March.
Icke, who recently directed and adapted Oedipus and Player Kings (a combination of Henry IV: Parts 1 and 2) in the West End, will make his Royal Court debut with the world premiere of Manhunt. The play explores the events that follow the release of Raoul Moat from Durham Prison in 2010.
The cast includes Samuel Edward-Cook, Trevor Fox, Leo James, Patricia Jones, Danny Kirrane, Angela Lonsdale, Sally Messham, and Nicolas Tennant.
Nathan Jago and Odhran Riddell will alternate the role of Boy and Zoe Bryan and Madeleine McKenna will alternate the role of Girl.
The creative team includes designer Hildegard Bechtler, lighting designer Azusa Ono, sound designer Tom Gibbons, video designer Ash J Woodward, and fight director Kev McCurdy.
