Fourth Monkey Theatre Company in Repertoire

Fourth Monkey Theatre Company returns to London's Trinity Buoy Wharf at Docklands, with three site-specific productions in repertory, by Fourth Monkey's Year of the Monkey (one year) course students, from 9 April to 3 May 2014.

The Good Person Of Szechwan by Bertolt Brecht, directed by Steve Tiller. The story of a young prostitute who struggles to lead a 'good' life in a society where goodness is not rewarded.

Our Country's Good by Timberlake Wertenbaker, directed by Toby Clarke. A group of Royal Marines and convicts in a penal colony in New South Wales explore the redemptive power of theatre through a production of The Recruiting Officer.

Yerma by Federico Garcia Lorca , directed by Cat Robey. A woman's overwhelming longing for a child drives her to desperate action, resulting in tragedy.

All three plays are designed by Lucy Read , with lighting by Pablo Fernandez Baz and sound by Jamie Flockton.
