Complete cast set for 'The Devil Wears Prada' in the West End
The Devil Wears Prada has a score by Elton John and Shaina Taub and book by Kate Wetherhead, with direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell.
The complete cast has been announced for the UK premiere of The Devil Wears Prada, which will star Vanessa Williams and Matt Henry as Runway Magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly and creative director Nigel. The musical opens at the Dominion Theatre on 24 October.
Joining them will be Georgie Buckland (Shrek the Musical) as Andy (played by Anne Hathaway in the 2006 film) and Amy Di Bartolomeo (Six) as Emily, who was played by Emily Blunt. James Darch (Mamma Mia!) will play journalist Christian, with Rhys Whitfield (The Phantom of the Opera) as Andy’s long–term boyfriend, Nate. For the show’s London run, Debbie Kurup will join as the standby Miranda Priestly.
Completing the cast are Maddy Ambus, Gabby Antrobus, Selena Barron, Pamela Blair, Robertina Bonano, Lloyd Davies, Elishia Edwards, Akeem Ellis-Hyman, Elizabeth Fullalove, Jinny Gould, Natasha Heyward, Samuel How, Luke Jackson, Liam Marcellino, Robbie McMillan, Ciro LourencioMeulens, Gabriel Mokake, Theo Papoui, Christopher Parkinson, Eleanor Peach, Ethan Le Phong, Jon Reynolds, Harriet Samuel-Gray, Olivia Saunders, Kayleigh Thadani, Ella Valentine, and Tara Yasmin.

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel and the 2006 movie, The Devil Wears Prada follows ambitious journalist Andy, who takes on a job at a magazine working for fashion's most formidable boss.
The rest of the creative team includes set design by Tim Hatley (Back to the Future), costume design by Gregg Barnes (Legally Blonde), lighting design by Bruno Poet (Tina – The Tina Turner Musical), and sound design by Gareth Owen (& Juliet).
