[*Clueless the Musical*](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/show/36641-clueless-the-musical) tickets are now available until 28 March 2026. The show opened at the Trafalgar Theatre in the West End in March.

KT Tunstall, Amy Heckerling, and Glenn Slater's new musical based on the 1995 film of the same name follows high school student and matchmaker Cher, who takes on her biggest project yet when she meets new girl Tai. But when Cher's own feelings are in the mix, she starts to realise maybe she's the one being clueless.

The cast includes Emma Flynn as Cher Horowitz, Keelan McAuley as Josh, Chyna-Rose Frederick as Dionne, Romona Lewis-Malley as Tai, Rabi Kondé as Murray, and Isaac J Lewis as Christian.

The show also features Blake Jordan as Travis, Max Mirza as Elton, Ryan O'Donnell as Mel /
Mr. Hall / Driving Instructor, Imelda Warren-Green as Miss Geist / Ms Stoeger / Lucy /
Heather, and Emily Florence as Amber. 

The full ensemble includes Grace Eleanor Thomas, Sophie Elmes, Aoife Kenny, James Lim,
Ernest Stroud, Jacob Fisher and Josh Latunji. Swings are Rachel Seirian, Lucy Rice, Dylan
Gordon-Jones, and Lucas Lluna.

*Clueless* is a musical by Amy Heckerling (writer-director of *Clueless* and director of *Fast Times at Ridgemont High*) with the original score by KT Tunstall (Known for hits like *Black Horse And The Cherry Tree*, and *Suddenly I See*). 

“I want you to feel like you’re at a gig with all of your favourite 90s artists playing in one show,” [Tunstall said](https://www.theguardian.com/stage/article/2024/sep/10/kt-tunstall-clueless-musical-amy-heckerling-london). “And not just have a theatre experience but a concert experience [as the band] jump from one genre to the next.” 

*Clueless* in London has a talented creative team, including multi-award-winning director Rachel Kavanaugh (*Half a Sixpence*) and Grammy-winning Glenn Slater (*Sister Act The Musical*), who wrote the musical lyrics. 

The show first played a developmental run in 2024 at Churchill Theatre Bromley, which was a complete revamp of the 2018 Off-Broadway show that starred Dove Cameron. The show was a hit, and now it’s in the West End. 

## What to watch for 

- In *Clueless*, many of the actors are making their West End debuts, including Emma Flynn, Romona Lewis-Malley, Blake Jordan,  Rabi Kondé, and Emily Florence. 
- When Amy Heckerling first pitched the idea for the story, she pitched it as a sitcom, but it ended up being created as a film instead. After the film’s release, a sitcom by the same name ran from 1996 to 1999. 
- The story of *Clueless* is based loosely on Jane Austen’s novel, *Emma*, which was published in 1815. 
- The 1995 film that inspired this musical starred Alicia Silverstone, Paul Rudd, and the late Brittany Murphy.

## How to Get to the Venue
 Trafalgar Theatre is conveniently located near several Underground stations with Charing Cross being the closest - a mere 2-minute walk. Bus services also provide excellent connectivity to and from various parts of London, with several routes stopping within walking distance of the theatre. For those who prefer driving, there are a few NCP car parks nearby. The theatre is also easily accessible for cyclists, with several bicycle racks available in the vicinity.

The Trafalgar Theatre opened in the West End theatre in summer 2021. Named the Trafalgar Theatre, the playhouse combines the two smaller studio spaces at Trafalgar Studios: Trafalgar Studio One and Trafalgar Studio Two. 

The Grade II listed Trafalgar Theatre will feature a new single auditorium, with a capacity similar to the [Duke of York’s Theatre](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/theatres/duke-of-yorks-theatre) and the [Vaudeville Theatre](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/theatres/vaudeville-theatre).
