Casting for the limited West End run of *[Cake](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/show/33533-cake)* at the [Lyric Theatre](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/theatres/lyric-theatre) has been announced, with Kandaka Moore (*Sylvia*) playing Nicole and Roger Dipper (*A Christmas Carol*) portraying Cardinal.

Following a successful try-out run at The Lyric Theatre in 2023, *Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist* makes its highly anticipated return to the London stage at The Other Palace. Book *Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist* tickets on London Theatre.

*Cake: The Marie Antoinette Playlist* in London is based on the true story of Queen Marie Antoinette's scandal-filled reign. The musical centres on a crime that helped spark a revolution when con artist Jeanne de Valois-Saint-Rémy implicated Queen Marie Antoinette in a plot to defraud the Crown Jewellers. 

The musical has an exceptional cast, including Zizi Strallen (*Mary Poppins, Strictly Ballroom*) as Marie Antoinette, and Renée Lamb (*Be More Chill, SIX*) as Jeanne de Valois-Saint-Rémy who are reprising their roles from the Lyric Theatre performances.

The musical book is written by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm (*Emilia*) and Tasha Taylor Johnson (*The Cat In The Hat*), with the music and lyrics of the multi-genre pop score by Jack McManus (*Either Side Of Midnight*) and Tasha Taylor-Johnson.
