Benjamin Scheuer's The Lion plays St James Studio

Seabright Productions presents The Lion, written and performed by Benjamin Scheuer, at the St James Studio, near Victoria in central London, beginning previews on 19 Aug 2014, officially opening on 21 Aug and continuing its limited engagement through to 07 Sep 2014.

Musician Benjamin Scheuer will be returning to the St James Studio, after an Off-Broadway season at the Manhattan Theatre Club, bringing his solo musical show The Lion with him.

The Lion is directed by Sean Daniels and premiered at last year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It was originally developed from an album of songs written by Scheuer and performed at New York's Lincoln Center in 2012. The title track of the album was also made into an award-winning animated video.

Synopsis: "One man, six guitars and a story of love, loss and survival."
