Michelle Visage interview - 'Jamie is more than just a musical'
You may know her as a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race, but Michelle Visage is a self-confessed musical theatre kid at heart. She's currently fulfilling a major ambition, and she treads the boards of a West End theatre, brushing up on her Yorkshire accent as she plays school teacher Miss Hedge in the West End production of Everybody's Talking About Jamie.
When we spoke to Michelle Visage, she said that performing in the West End is a "big dream come true" and that she has always been a "lover of the United Kingdom" for her entire life. Speaking about the show, she believes it's a show for the entire family, opening everyone's minds and hearts.
Everybody's Talking About Jamie is booking at the Apollo Theatre until 28th September 2019.
