About More Life

In More Life, a sci-fi gothic horror, it's the year 2075, and Bridget wakes up in a synthetic body that isn't her own after dying in a car accident 50 years ago. Book More Life tickets on London Theatre.

More Life in London stars Marc Elliott (The Father and the Assassin), Alison Halstead (Princess Essex), Lewis Mackinnon (Kid a Kidder), Tim McMullan (Drive Your Plough Over the Bones of the Dead), Danusia Samal (Bangers) and Helen Schlesinger (Wild East).

The cast tells a tale that explores what it means to be human in the technological age and examines the ethical dilemmas involved with living beyond life's natural limits.

More Life is a play by Lauren Mooney and James Yeatman of Kandinsky Theatre Company. In a statement, they said, "The premiere of More Life in 2025 will mark a decade since our first show as Kandinsky, also for David Byrne, back at the New Diorama Theatre…Now, ten years on, we're making a show for one of the most magic, transformational spaces in London, at a theatre that is truly an icon in the landscape of British theatre. We couldn't be prouder, or more excited, or more grateful to have been part of David's story over the last ten years. We can't wait for people to see More Life."

The creative team includes text and dramaturgy by Lauren Mooney (There Is A Light That Never Goes Out), direction by James Yeatman (There Is A Light That Never Goes Out), design by Shankho Chaudhuri (Death of England), lighting design by Ryan Joseph Stafford (Cinderella), composer and co-sound designer is Zac Gvirtzman (Richard III), the other co-sound designer is Dan Balfour (Dear England), costume supervision is by Isobel Pellow (Princess Essex), and Royal Court artistic director is David Byrne.
